Addison, Illinois —NSK Precision America Inc., a leading manufacturer of precision motion control solutions to the North American market, is pleased to announce the introduction of their new Bench Top 3-Axis System. The new Bench Top 3-Axis system incorporates the speed, accuracy and efficiency necessary to achieve new levels of productivity.
With a payload capacity of one kilogram, the overall design has been made significantly more efficient through the elimination of external cables in favor of a belt and pulley system. Space has been created for a larger work area by using a cantilever design to make the unit much more compact. The compact design and materials, as well as advanced design, combine to make this configuration significantly lighter in weight, about seven kilograms in total, which enhances maneuverability. And, perhaps most importantly of all, this system is fast with a point-to-point movement time of approximately 0.7 seconds with no loss of accuracy.
This 3-axis system is very well suited to a large number of different applications, particularly in the pharmaceutical and lab automation industries.
